Watertown Youth Girls Lacrosse follows the Concussion Policy of US Lacrosse. If a coach observes a player sustaining an impact to the head, and there is a question of a concussion, or if the player reports symptoms that may indicate a concussion, the coach will sit the player out, and recommend to the player and family that they seek care from a qualified medical professional. Our girls coaches will follow the motto, "When in doubt, sit it out." If a player is diagnosed with a concussion, for any reason, on or off the field, the player must provide a note from their physician before returning to play.
